This is one of the Turner Castle project on summerhouse that he designed for a family with two small boys. This small building of summerhouse was built at the bottom of the family long garden area with the idea was to make this small house become an art studio, layroom, tools shed and kitchen that performing a hybrid function.

The structure of this little summerhouse is entirely using timber and have a mirrored wall of stainless steel features on the north elevation which reflects the adjacent garden. This small building project is clad in birch-faced plywood. The project was awarded winner in the category of Small Project in the Wood Awards 2005.
